Check out the links below, for more information about what is happening, raffle tickets and prizes.

During the crafternoon event, Crafter's Companion hopes to inspire and educate, below you will find the cards I created and then the tutorial.

Cut a piece of white card to fit your card blank, then using a brayer apply a thin layer of paint, this background is all about adding layers. you can also achieve a similar look using a bank or store card to apply the paint.

still using the brayer apply more layers in different colours until you are happy, I stuck with cool colours until my final layer.

where I added a pop of red. Before using the Hessian embossing folder as a stamp with white distress ink over the top.

I also used the same paints and technique to apply paint to a black piece of card, and the paints I used were Pebeo-: Bleu Ceruleum, Irridescent green yellow, Cadmium red hue and Iridescent green blue. I love the shine the iridescent paints give on the black card.

Cut an aperture from  the front of the card blank leaving a border around the edge.

Die cut the Joyful Snowman from white card and rip a piece of white card that will fit across the aperture to represent your snowy ground.

Glue these in place on the front of your card, glue your painted background to the back of the card blank.

To finish off die cut a sentiment from white card and glue in place before taking a clear glitter pen to add some extra sparkle.
