April's Creative Challenge Flora and Fauna

I had a notion that instead of just looking at all the wonderful entries that are submitted on various blogs for challenges, that I should join in as well. This is for the April challenge over on The Artistic Stampers blog.

I was recently playing with some colour bursts and some colorex. both are watercolour paints and really fun to play with. This left me with lots of background papers to add to, I ripped two of the papers and glued sections onto a tag made from card stock, and then stamped over that using distress inks and texture stamps from The Artistic Stamper, I then mixed some paint with texture paste and added that to the tag in sections trough a mask and scrapped the remaining paste along the edges. This took way to long to dry I am so impatient.

I then decorated the tag with flowers made from book pages and bits of paper from the background, I stamped words onto a book page and glued then into place and added some metal embellishments.
