Bird canvas Board

Hello Everyone

WOW it's November already and a new month means a new challenge over on the Artistic Stamper creative team blog. This months challenge is Autumn, please pop over take a look and join in, we love seeing all the entries from you amazing, talented people.

To start I primed my canvas board with gesso, once that dried I blended some Rusty Hinge and Fossilised Amber distress crayons over the top.

Laying a Petal mask on top of the board I wiped a wet wipe over the top, removing some of the crayon. Then after giving it a quick dry with a heat tool I stamper over the whole canvas board with a calligraphy mat and black Archival Ink.

I then stamped the bird cage into place and the the leaves. I used the leaf from the Dog Rose stamp designed by Lesley Matthewson.

I painted in the leaves using Cut Grass and Squeezed Orange Dylusion paints. Then I added some detail as well as going over some of the stamped areas with a black stabilo pencil and a black pen.
