Wow, December already. Today is the start of this months challenge over on The Artistic Stampers Blog and Facebook page. The Theme this month is Christmas, I created this card without using a single Christmas stamp, just lots of Artistic Stamper background stamps. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's entries.
I created a couple of background sheets on my Gelli Plate using acrylic paints and background stamps. The stamps I used were Chicken wire, Grid, and Harlequin. The Harlequin stamp seemed to show up the most, over this, I made some marks with a card and a lid.
I cut some shapes for trees in slightly different sizes.
and ripped some white card to make snowy hills.
I cut a sheet of card to fit my card blank and after painting it blue I stamped the random dots stamp over the top with a versa mark pad. I heat embossed the stamping with white embossing powder.
I then glued the layers together and made marks around the edges with paint pens.
Thanks for reading, comment and let me know what you think
