Altered CD with Sheena Douglass's Majestic Oak

For this Crafter's Companion Inspirers team post I have another altered CD.

I used Sheena's Majestic Oak stamp set on this one. 

The most amazing thing happened when I coated this CD with gesso, the surface of the CD crinkled and bubbled with gave the CD the most wonderful texture. I sponged a mixture of iridescent gold, iridescent precious gold and iridescent copper gold Pebeo paints over the top. 

I then stamped the tree and the text onto tissue paper, which I gently tore around before gluing to the CD with gel medium. To finish I splattered with white acrylic paint and edged the CD with copper gold paint.
