It's time for another Inspirers post for Crafter's Companion. I know, I know! bad, bad blogger that I am, I have missed Friday posts and all other kinds of things but life has been getting in the way, and life must always come first.
For this post, I have an altered CD to share with you.
After priming the CD with two coats of gesso (I found one coat would just keep chipping) I coated the CD with a mix of iridescent green blue Pebeo paint and white acrylic. I scooped a little of both paints onto a paint brush and blended them directly onto the CD. Then I sponged the same paints onto the Hessian embossing folder and stamped that over the CD.
Once the CD was completely dry I stamped Sheena's every rose stamp and phrase into place before painting it with Pebeo's Cad red hue and black acrylic paint. To finish I went around the images with a black pen and added doodles around the edges.
Thank you for reading,
please comment let me know if you would like to see more altered CDs
