Journal Page using the free gifts from Crafter's Inspiration Issue 13

Well sometimes a girl just need to play in her journal or in this case on a cereal box, So for this Inspirers post, I have played with paint and the free gifts from Crafter's Inspiration Issue 13

I started by coating the box with a layer of Pebeo Gesso, while that was still wet I scrapped Pebeo orange cadmium hue and azo light yellow over the top.

I then stamped over the top using the free embossing folder and white Gesso, I also used the free stamp to add extra interest with Distress inks and Archival ink.

Once I had drawn in my girls face with a pencil I added a layer of gesso to block the paints and inks underneath. Ove dry I painted the face and hair in with acrylic paints. On a sperate sheet of paper, I had painted with Pebeo cerulean blue and Gesso, Die cut lots of petals from the free die and built a dress from them.
