Three Cheers for Polkadoodles

The We Love to Create Blog has recently undergone a few changes, We are still a blog dedicated to mixed media, but Polkadoodles is our lovely new sponsor

I have created a canvas board for this months challenge, I am not completely sure I think it's finished, comment below, let me know what you think?

I printed off some wonderful papers from the Belle Papillon downloadables, The music sheet paper was then scrunched up for extra texture before it was glued down with gel medium. Once that was dry I mixed some brown Gelatos with some beaded gel medium, which I scrapped through a stencil. Once it was completely dry I went around the edged with a different colour Gelato. I tried to keep all the colours within an orange/brown group (hope that makes sense).

 I then cut around and cut in half this beautiful butterfly from the same collection which I glued in place with more gel medium.

I then glued over the top a quote I had stamped out and another image from the collection.

 Then I went to town with my Faber Castel Pitt Pens in an effort to lift the images from the canvas.
