Butterfly Light Canvas

My team project was created on canvas board using Gelatos and a small amount of white acrylic paint. I put down a layer of colour on my board from the pigment sticks, I chose three colours for the background, once the colour was down I blended them in using sponge (Love the product, but I'm not too keen on touching it with my fingers), Then I sprayed some water on one of The Artistic Stampers background stamps and pushed it into the Gelato to remove some of the colour.

Then to add a small pop of contrasting colour and rubbed some red Gelato onto a different background stamp sprayed that with water and randomly stamped over my board. The white acrylic paint was added by applying it to the bottom of different sized lids and using those as stamps before the final splattering of black acrylic paint went over the top.

On a separate piece of card, I stamped the large light bulb and filled it with butterflies, before glueing it to the board. To finish I went around everything with a paint pen and added my quote.
