Hello
I have some cards to share with you all today for the Love to create challenge sponsored by polkadoodles using some of their wonderful stamps. Pop over to the blog and take a look at the wonderful makes by my teammates and join in the challenge.
What I did 😀
1- Pick four different colours of Gelato and roughly scribble the pigment onto a large sheet of card, I used an A3 sheet.
2- Using your finger or a brush dipped into a small amount of water, wet the Gelato and move them over the page until the whole sheet is covered, you may need to add more Gelato to the card.
3- Place a stencil over the top and use a wet wipe over the top to remove the pigment. Move the stencil making sure to rotate it until most of the card is covered.
4- Once dry stamp over the top with a brown (neutral) ink and a script stamp, making sure all the text is the correct way up. I used a distress ink for this.
5- Cut the card into 4x4 squares and edge them with the same ink.
6- Take a small stamp from the Regal Peacock stamp set and black archival ink and stamp onto the card moving the stamp round in a circle to create your own focal images.
7- Doodle around the edges with a black pen and glue to card blanks after adding some focal text.
Thank you
Gemma
