Hello
Today I am sharing a project I made for Canvas Corp Brands for a Creative Crew challenge. Pop over and take a look at the CCB blog for all the wonderful creations my teammates made. Who knew there were so many different and versatile things you could do with a 12x12 Kraft envelope.
Step by Step
I scored the envelope in half and then into 8 sections, I then cut along the middle through the first three sections.
Then I cut patterned card to fit each of the sections.
After rounding the corners I added colour with Glimmer Mist sprays.
Then I added some larger sprinkles of Glimmer Mist by unscrewing the pump from the bottle and shaking that over the card.
Then I cut tags to fit the inside of each section, I mixed High Impact paints on my glass mat and painted the tags so they contrasted with the blues on the front sections.
Once dry I applied white paint through an Architextures tall base, I then turned it over and used it to stamp white paint in other areas.
I added more interest to the card sections by adding circles.
Leaving all those pieces to completely dry I cut some birds and text from the birds and bees on Ivory card.
Before gluing the panels to the 12x12 envelope I layed out the images over the panels, in a continuous flow and glued them in place.
Thank you
Gemma
