Make a fun, bright card using Stamps and images

I am now back at my crafty station after a nice long break, crafty decisions have been made and I am interested to see what the year brings. I just wanted to take this last opportunity to say Happy New Year to you all and to thank you for taking the time to read, look at, Pin, and comment on my blog. It means so much to me and I am truly grateful.

I have a fun card to share with you today, and I say fun because these images are so cute and cheeky looking it could only be fun to create with them. This card was made using a stamp and die cuts, designed by Art by Marlene (Marlene Meijer-van Niekerk), and Sprays by Tattered Angles which are created by Canvas Corp Brands.

Steps

Cut a piece of card to fit the card blank, and repeatedly stamp and image over the top using Archival Ink. Remember to hang the image over the edges of the card to create a random look. I have used stamp STAMPBM05 from Art by Marlene's Signature Collection.

After making sure the ink was dry I sprayed the card with English Ivy Glimmer Mist, Rosey Simply Sheer Mist, Canary and Alaskan Salmon Chalkboard Mists from Tattered Angels, Once the first layer of spray was dry I added more of the spray in places with a paintbrush.

More drying time and then it was time to doodle over the top of the stamped images to make them pop and to add some splatters of white paint.

I edge my die cuts with black paint and doodled on them with black and white pens before attaching them to the card with foam tape. The die cuts I used were from the Art by Marlene Die Cut Block

Thank you for stopping by
